Hi I'm Heather and welcome to my site!   I have always been passionate about food.   Either that or I'm just greedy!   I remember making a Croche em bouche from scratch for my Niece's birthday which was more like the leaning tower of Pisa.   It took me a whole day and several burnt fingers!   And we pinched a traffic cone to make it in!

After having battled with chronic fatigue sydrome in my early 20's I was referred to a dietician who tested me for allergies, one of which was gluten.      I was borderline coeliac.   There, my gluten free journey began, as did my journey to wellness.

Trying to find gluten free products back then when they weren't so widely available was quite a challenge and I realised I would just have to make my own.

Although all my inflammation and pain reduced greatly I just never felt good and the constant brain fog never went away.   I couldn't go for a walk without my head spinning.  After researching a whole food plant based diet our whole family decided to stop eating meat and dairy.  So we went vegan in December 2017.

​

I believe to make a vegan diet sustainable you still need to have a few treats now and again.   I mean, who wants to give up chocolate? 

​

All my treats are dairy free, gluten free and vegan and handmade at home.
